Maxine Bullock

Maxine Bullock, 92, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:27 A.M., Thursday, July 31, 2003 at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Maxine was a retired florist and had worked in the floral business from 1972 until 2002.  She was also a retired teacher at Sesser-Valier School.  She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church and was a seventy-seven year member of the church.  She was also a member of Eastern Star, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Retired Teacher's Association, Perry Co. Retired Teacher's Association and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Southern Illinois University.
She was born July 16, 1911 at Sesser, IL, the daughter of John Moore and Epsa Swisher Moore Eubanks.
She married Spruel E. Bullock on August 7, 1935 at Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2002.
She is survived by her children - Joy McClellan and husband William of Mt. Vernon, IL, Bobbie Ingram and husband J.T., of Du Quoin, IL, Bill Bullock and wife Donna of Johnston City, IL, and Larry Bullock and wife Sherry of Du Quoin, IL, ten grandchildren - Teresa DalSanto, Jennifer Benedict, Bryan Ingram, Laura Spain, Sandy Bullock, Christina Busch, Tenille Bullock, Linaya Alvarez, Trevor Bullock, Courtney Overturf, and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother - Wayne Moore, and one grandson - Mike.
Funeral services were at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Greenwood United Methodist Church at Mulkeytown with Rev. David Morgan and Bro. Percy Pavloff officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 9 to 10 A.M. Saturday at the church.
Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Mulkeytown, IL.
